About our School


Background to the school

Lenham Primary School is quiet an entrenched school in the area dating back to 1984 . On 16 January 1984, LPS opened its doors with Mr K. Moodley as the acting principal and 10 staff members. On the 17/01/84, the student compliment was 88.  The principals over the years were Mr. R. Madho; Mr. S.P. Singh; Mr L. Rai, Mr M.H Buckus and Mr. C. K. Pillay. Sitting in  the high office  today is our much respected principal Mr. A. Harripersadh. Today, we have a learner population of 683 with a very experienced educator and admin staff. Some of our educators have been at this institution since its inception which translates to 36 years.


To develop learners holistically by providing a conducive environment and quality education to meet the challenges.


Our mission is to create educational opportunities and challenge learners to reach their full potential by:
